My little chair

03 May 2010
by Nare Aghababyan

When I was little, I had a white chair. The chair was then so big that I could not get on it by myself. But a few years later, I noticed that my big chair had gotten smaller and I could not sit on it with my entire body. My friend and I were playing together when I told her with surprise how my big chair had all of a sudden gotten smaller. My friend said that maybe there was a ghost in our house. The next day, she told me with fear that her chair and her bed had also both gotten smaller, and that she thought there was definitely a ghost in their house. When we grew up, we would always laugh remembering that story. Over the years, our furniture got smaller as we got older.
